For Overwatch, Console Gaming League consists of six different tiers. Demon Squad is in NA Tier 3. These are the requirements for each of their tiers:
Demon Squad consists of @Pro MK5 (SL), @Uneadhealing (SA), @hhh76017, @Kibbles, @Syrup, and @TG XBlazeX (SMs). @S33ker TNS and a few others were a part of their roster as needed. These members have had many tough battles during this season. Demon won six of their ten matches and twenty-one of their maps! Unfortunately, just before playoffs were going to start the top 2 teams in NA Tier 3 were found to be cheating. Console Gaming League had to reseed things, so the playoffs were briefly delayed.
Last Sunday, Demon played their first playoff match against the number 2 ranked team. After a very tough battle Demon unfortunately lost the last map 2-3. Now we await to see if there will be a lower bracket that Demon will be able to participate in, or if the season has come to an end. Either way, I'd like to congratulate this team for all of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that they have put into this season! You guys did an amazing job, and I look forward to seeing you compete again in the near furture!

In the USA, many people tend to think of what they are thankful for in the month of November. I definitely think its important for all of us to take time to focus and appreciate the things that bring us joy more than just once a year, but to follow the popular November trend I wanted to take some time to highlight a few things that I am thankful for. I'm definitely thankful for my family (including dogs and cat), friends, home, and all of those traditional things that people typically think of first, but that's not what I wanted to write about (Cortana is giving me judgmental looks though for not focusing on her...). Instead, I wanted to focus on a few things that TG has brought to my life that have brought me more joy than I thought it would.
For starters, today is Veteran's Day in the USA. I have always thought this day was very special, but outside of TG I do not know that many Veterans. Since joining this community I have met hundreds of Veterans from across the globe. I want to say that I am truly thankful for all of your service! You are amazing!
I want to thank all of the staff in TG that help make this community run smoothly, without you- I would not be here. I love being able to work with you guys to help make TG the welcoming environment that it is. Each of you bring so many different qualities to TG. It has and will continue to be a pleasure to work alongside y'all. I really mean this. You guys rock! As I said in the prelude, things have been rough the last few weeks, and I appreciate you guys standing by my side!
Not only am I thankful for my staff, I am thankful for all of our members! Tactical Gaming would just be a website without y'all, which would be really lame! You guys are what gives my staff and myself a purpose in this community. It has been a pleasure to get to know so many of you, and if we have not met yet- I'm hoping to meet you guys in the near future.
At the end of October, we completed our St. Jude Charity Stream. I am so very thankful every year that we are able to do these charity events. They are so much fun to be a part of from interacting with the streamers, speaking with the fellow viewers, attempting to play games on stream, completing challenges, and most of all raising money for an amazing cause! I am also thankful for all of you that helped to make this stream a success.
Last thing that I'd like to mention is I am thankful for all of the amazing friendships that have been created due to me being apart of Tactical Gaming. My Tactical Gaming Family has been so much more important to me especially during the last two years while trying to navigate through COVID. Being able to hang out with friends without having to get together in person has been great. Many of the friendships I have formed here are for life, even if you leave TG at any point- I am still here for you!
I'd like to challenge all of you to take time to reflect on the things that bring you joy. What is something that always puts a smile on your face?

The process is fairly simple and straight forward. By heading over to digital media requests, you can fill out the form to get rolling on a brand-new graphic for you to use. Most TG members will get use out of the “profile graphics” request, but Squad Staff also have the benefit of being able to request PPR/PB graphics and there are even specialty requests for Youtube, Twitch, and social media sites.
Speaking with TG BulletDrop, I was able to get some insight into the process. Once the request form is filled out the DMT will pick up the project within 48 hours, and a DMT member will then have another 48 hours to deliver a draft version of the project for review. At this point you would be able to request any changes to be made before the final draft is delivered to you. However, due to a dry period the DMT are usually able to complete the initial draft within a day of posting the request (depending on the complexity of course). This means if you requested a graphic today, you could have it ready to go before your next practice!
And the cost of all this? Nothing! It’s completely free to TG members. Though, being a TG supporter does have several benefits. Firstly, supporters have the ability to get a banner on their account profile on the forums. Second, supporters have access to larger signatures. And finally, supporters are able to request animated signatures. Animated signatures have more involved in their creation and do take more time. Additionally, due to the nature of the animated signatures, only one round of edits can be submitted after the initial draft is presented.
The DMT would like to extend an invitation to all TG members to reach out and request a graphic as availability is high right now. They take pride in their work and want to deliver a quality product. The Digital Media Team Leader, TG BulletDrop, said on the topic “I just want to make sure that everyone feels welcome to request a signature…but maybe not everyone all at once. Haha!”

On Friday October 29th to Sunday October 31st, the Public Relations Office is running a charity stream over the weekend to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Anytime I play a game where the goal is to kill the enemy- I shoot to kill as I see them (or at least try to)! Sometimes being able to use trigger discipline and conserve ammo is very important though. Do you have what it takes to only get the shots that keep you alive and in the game? Are you able to work with your teammates and allow them to do more damage than you? Are you willing to see if you can actually display trigger discipline? If so, this tournament is for you!
The rules for the tournament are as follows:
Play between October 22nd and October 24th (contest ends at 11:59 pm EST).
If your team wins and you had the least amount of damage, submit a screenshot in the comments of this article. (Must be submitted by 12:30 am EST on October 25th.)
Whomever has the least amount of damage at the end of the weekend will be the winner!

I wanted to share with you some of the results from the Discord survey:
Of 105 responses ~56% were in support, ~10% neutral, and ~33% were opposed. The majority are in support of the consolidation. The ratio stayed about how it is now. At 25 responses, 40, 60, and 80 the ratio stayed about the same for support. I know it may seem like 8 days was not enough time for the 8 question survey, but we got the feedback we needed in the survey. To contrast this against the last TG wide survey that was open for 2 months with 144 responses, we feel we got the majority of the feedback. While there are over 1,100 members in TG, that includes our on leave members.
Most had the concerns around seeing a massive list of all channels for all divisions, pings they don't want, losing their squad or CoC specific channels, etc. We believe all of these concerns have been reasonably addressed, but will work through it one division/legion at a time in partnership with the CoC to ensure a smooth transition and that we address all of the concerns we can.
As you can see, most people use the TG Discord for practice and squad communication followed up by LFG:
It is our hope that moving this function to the TG Discord will allow us to unite the community similar to how it was before all of the division/legion Discords. (Because all of TG was on one TS3 server and people joined each other cross division/legion much more in the model.)
CURRENT (17 Oct 2021): We have built a plan moving 1 division/legion at a time smallest to largest as discussed. The timeline to move is as follows:
OLD: The original timeline is below for reference. We were taking it slow, but based on the success and CoD's request to move before the new CoD Vanguard game drops, we accelerated.
The plan is just that, a plan. We may run into issues and slow down, or things may be much easier than anticipated and may speed up slightly. So far, we have not encountered major issues and have had positive feedback.
You can take this as official notice to all members that we have decided to move forward with the Discord consolidation, slowly and deliberately with a methodical plan to get this right. We will continue to meet with staff (as highlighted in the plan) to make sure we are not overlooking anything, and so we can all stay on the same page. While this topic has been in conversation with various levels of CoC for many months now, we wanted to bring this information (most of which was limited to Div/Leg+ until now) to everyone. Please feel free to raise questions and concerns to your CoC.
