ATO: CoD Red Dawn becomes a CP Squad

Special thanks to @Heliohem who has been with the squad to help them in the competitions, but has currently had to step away due to a deployment.
 
 
Red Dawn is competing in the Z League Tournament for CoD Warzone. Typically they participate in trios or quads and often have two teams competing at one time from within their squad. They rotate which members are on which teams on an as needed basis. Red Dawn started to compete in February. So far, they have participated in 25 matches with 17 top five finishes, 7 top three finishes, and six victories thus far!

Join the journey of Overwatch 2! "Are you with me?"

Are all you gamers out there ready for Overwatch 2? Do you want to get a feel of the game? A game that only took a ….. bit of time to get released!

Overwatch owns its success to Blizzard, which has spent a lot of time and energy on character development. Smooth transitions in-between rounds. Moreover, every game you play feels fast-paced, engaging, and different. 

For those who have never played Overwatch before. Overwatch is a 6v6 multiplayer, First-person shooter (fps in short) set in the near future. The style of the game is cartoonish. The game itself can become very competitive very quickly. Or you stick to quickplay and mess around until you know what you are doing, or go all-out Genji on everyone.
 

 
For those of you that don't like competitive mode, and don't like to get killed every single time in respawn by a Bastion, there is good news!!! Overwatch 2 comes with a PvE feature. This will come in a separate release. Next to that, PvP in Overwatch 2 will only be with five players per team instead of six. And there will be a new game mode, a new character (finally), and four new maps to explore!
 
The new game mode added to Overwatch2 is called "push". Here teams must attempt to escort a robot over the finish line while holding each other off. Sojourn will be the first Canadian character officially added to the Overwatch team roster. The beta release for the game will be for PvP only. If you want to participate in the game's closed beta, The game itself will be released in 2023, with the PvP version released at the end of 2022 separately.

And I do strictly charge and require all personnel of lesser grade to render obedience to appropriate orders. And this appointee is to observe and follow such orders and directions as may be given from time to time by Superiors acting according to the rules and articles governing the discipline of Tactical Gaming.

Back to the fundamentals

As indicated on the history page, In September 2008 we experienced a major restructure that allowed us to better meet our member’s needs. By re-branding ourselves to TacticalGaming.net (TG), we were able to support multiple franchises of different genres which include the established TW franchise (TW) and the creation of Tactical Sports (TS) for sports based games. Unfortunately, the “team vs team” modes in sports based games did not explode in popularity like we had hoped and as such, TS was shut down in 2018.
 
Over the years, TW’s structure and other requirements closed the door to great games that TG could have supported. From the 2018 ashes of TS, we created Tactical Adventures (TA) that allowed TG to accept a LARGE variety of games that simply did not fit TW. Games such as turn-based and other based strategy, role-playing, non shooter Massively Multiplayer (MMO), Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games and more. Even with the best efforts possible, TA did not grow as needed to justify all the work that’s involved.
 
TG’s Commitment to Non Military Style Shooters
But let’s be clear that our commitment to turn-based and other based strategy, role-playing, non shooter Massively Multiplayer (MMO), Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games and more has not changed. They will simply be part of the same TG structure while keeping the same flexibility as they had before. 
 
So if you want TG to support a new game, you need to have a full Squad (in game squad size) worth of people that are willing to transfer, request the game to be added to Vanguard Division. Get the full details!
 
Structure 
So basically, TW and TA are now unified as TG. We will keep using the military structure (Corps, Divisions, Brigades, Battalions and squads) and ranks. 
 
Awards 
Because TA awards (medals, badges and coins) had an equivalent in TW, TG will keep using the TW awards. Any TA awards given to members has/will be converted to the equivalent TG award.

Discord will Sync with our Site
Unless you're Battalion Staff or above, you don't realize the amount of work it is to keep your Discord accounts updated with the correct roles and titles. 
 
We’re in the process of hiring a contractor to link your Discord account to your TG site account which will automatically assign you to the correct roles on Discord. This will massively reduce the amount of work your CoC has to do. 👍

TG’s Regulation Regarding Allegiance
It's important for all of you to understand the significance of the following modification. Since I founded TG 17 years ago, we've basically never touch TG's regulations as they're basically our bible by which TG relies on. 
 
We’ve recently added flexibility to our Allegiance regulation where members are now allowed to be part of other communities as long as it doesn't conflict with :
Division’s gaming schedule any league/ladder/tournament rules

Open Warzone Event

The folks over at Call of Duty Division have combined forces and brains to organize with a simple goal in mind.
"To bring together Tactical Gaming's entire member body, supported by dedicated members of the division with the objective of bringing TG members together in the spirit of friendship, camaraderie and sportsmanship." 
 
The event is being held on a private Warzone lobby, they need a minimum amount of people to sign up and attend the event to be eligible to open the lobby.
So, they are asking You, if you are available on Saturday 12th March at these times:  2100 GMT : 1600 EST : 1300 PST and you are looking for something to do... Then what are you waiting for?

Throughout January, 1st Btn Warzone Squad, Red Dawn (ST) have been competing within ZLeauge competitions. Competing against 450 teams and 45 Divisions they regularly compete in the top third of the leagues. Their results from this months 12 matches,  includes 5 First Place finishes and a further 7 Top 10 places. Along the way, Red Dawn have collected dozens of credits to be put towards future competitions and TF121 has won multiple wagers, most recently, $60 in prize money. It has been a fantastic month for the squad, and a great showcase for Warzone and the Btn.

Halo Infinite Season 2 Content Revealed

Halo Infinite has had silence around its future content which has started making a lot of the community disinterested in playing and interacting with the game.
 
However, we've recently received information on lots of new content for Season 2 in the form of new maps, game modes, and both paid and free battle passes. Forge is still on track for Season 3, but co-op campaign has unfortunately been delayed again.
Hopefully this content for Season 2 will be enough to get the community back into a positive mindset around the game.
